New York invites

Be inspired by this stationery suite by The Indigo Bunting. They incorporate all sorts of personal aspects of the couple resulting in a beautiful and unique invitation.

Their invitation reflects a classic New York City wedding at the Central Park Boathouse. Let your wedding venue inspire your stationery.

Quotes about love frame the envelope on the back of the invitation. Be inspired by movies, books or music that mean a lot to you as a couple and incorporate them into your stationery, such as a line from your favourite song.

"A guide from us to you/y'all." (She's from New York. His family's from Texas.) It's a nice touch to include personal details in your stationery.

The invitation included a custom map of Manhattan for the couple, annotated with their favorite places in the city. It is such a lovely idea to include information about the place where your wedding is taking place - extra special for out-of-town guests.

Lady in red

A red dress is not quite bridal but I find these pictures inspirational. They feel free, dynamic and full of joy - and what a beautiful locations for pictures. While they say their is "no gain without pain" when it comes to beauty, it is important to feel comfortable enough to dance around with joy in your dress!

Love backdrops

love the settings this couple has used for their photographs: from a tree-lined lane to a raw brick wall. And while there are no pics of a reception, the idea of a big chalk board that guests and the couple can draw on and can be used as a background is such a wonderful idea!
