Real Wedding #9: A Touch of Sunshine

It's a lazy public holiday here so I'm late with today's post - the bright, lovely wedding of Ashley and Allen. Remembering our Hello Yellow mood board this wedding puts yellow to its perfect use. I love the casual, romantic and simple feel of this wedding, reminding brides everywhere that all you need for your perfect day is love, family and friends.

There are a few things I have to point out about this wedding, things I love.
1. Love the fabric peony on the bride's dress and her cute yellow shoes.
2. Love that her mom did most of the flowers, the sweets tables and the time capsule.
3. Love the idea of the time capsule - different coloured notes and envelopes for the 1st, 5th, 10th, 25th, 50th anniversaries - guests chose a date and wrote a wish or prediction for them to be read only at that time.
4. Love the bird motif that the bride and groom drew and then incorporated into their wedding from the pin on his tie to their invite and favours.
5. Love the cool photos of their friends and family.
6. Love the Sunday Brunch idea for a wedding.
