Inspiration board #5: Vintage treasures

Keeping within the retro theme, today's inspiration board is all about the past. Not only is this a big wedding trend at the moment, it is also a wonderful way of incorporating family heirlooms, personal memories and your history into your day. Be inspired by old fashioned pin-up shoots or photographs from your grandparents' wedding album. Use vintage lace in your dress and wearing your mother's veil will work perfectly as your "something borrowed." A vintage theme can be put together elegantly in subtle ways - think about your table settings and ways to inlcude family photographs. You can also introduce a vintage feel into your stationery using a font that resembles that of a typewriter. Another important element is the style of photographer you choose. There are so many delightful ideas in the past so take a look back and see what you can discover!
